I no longer have the original receipt from Best Buy. I do have the product keys for Vista and Microsoft, if I can use those to download Office? The 25 character Office Product Key is still good, as long as you wrote it down correctly, and entered it correctly.
LibreOffice is a free alternative to MS Office. It has equivalent programs and many but not all of the same features. For people who can't afford MS Office, it is a good alternative.
It is also often useful for fixing problems with document corruption in Office. It will sometimes be able to open a file that the Office application can't.
